1941/12/24 - Sailed with Convoy DM.1

1941/12/31 - Detached from William Sail convoy and sailed for Singapore

1942/01/13 -  The ‘Aorangi’ arrived Singapore and after unloading the troops sailed for Australia. The 6th H.A.A. Regiment took defence of Singapore City on the South Coast of the island.

1942/02/01 -  As the Japanese campaign developed, the Supreme Commander of the American-British-Dutch-Australian Command (ABDA), General Wavell, sent some of the A.A. reinforcements from Singapore on to the Dutch East Indies. RHQ, 12 and 15 H.A.A. Btys of 6th H.A.A. Regiment went to Sumatra.

1942/02/12 -  Transported to Java

1942/03/08 - Java surrendered to Japanese


1943/02/01 - WO 417/59, Casualty List No 1100. Reported to War Office Casualty Section for 24 hours ending at 9.00. Missing

1943/07/23 - WO 417/64, Casualty List No. 1194. Previously reported Missing on Casualty List No. 1100, 01/02/1943 now reported Prisoner of War.
