KRANJI WAR CEMETERY

Kranji War Cemetery is 22 kilometres north of the city of Singapore, on the north side of Singapore Island overlooking the Straits of Johore.

Posthumous Mentioned in Despatches on 17th Mar 1947 – ‘for outstanding service as a POW in Europe’ Note: this is not correct – Most likely awarded the MID because he was executed by the Japanese in attempting to escape.
