Frank enlisted in Carlisle TA as a driver on the 7th September 1939

He spent time at many postings the last before being reported Missing Malaya, then a ‘Prisoner of War’.

On the 11th May 1943, he was reported as, "Died of Cholera whilst Prisoner of War at Sonkrai, Thailand."
