Royal Signals * Joined 1938, sent to Dunkirk to help in the evacuation, Geoff was taken prisoner and spent approx 5 yrs in Stalag VIIIB, and used as 'forced labour' in the coalmines.
As the Russians approached he was forced to march 600 miles ahead of them, and was eventually liberated by the Americans.
