Tribute

By Paul Howard

Although he kept his counsel about some of his POW experiences, over the years he shared some glimpses of the astonishing camerarderie that he encountered as well as accounts of the amazing ingenuity of the RAMC in their fight to care for and save their comrades.

Dad had a fall late in 2006 which robbed him of his confidence to live independently and for the last five and a half years he had lived with my wife and me in Eastbourne.
