Each grave marker reads: AN AIRMAN OF THE 1939-1945 WAR, ROYAL AIR FORCE, 29TH FEBRUARY 1944, KNOWN UNTO GOD. All nine men are commemorated by name on the SINGAPORE MEMORIAL, Singapore.
