Flying Officer John Harvey-Steel was killed in a Lancaster
crash at Salford on the 30th July 1944, involving PB 304 'S'
for Sugar.
John who was 22 years old came from Bradford, he originally trained
as a pilot, but after being 'washed out' remustered as Air Bomber.
