KANCHANABURI WAR CEMETERY

Sydney had a rough War, he was sent to Dunkirk returned from there and almost straight away was shipped to Singapore. We didn’t have any news of him till the War ended. A Scots boy who was with him most of the time, spoke to my Mother. He was at Nieke camp, and worked on the Railway.

My Sister and I have been lucky enough to visit Kanachaburi Cemetery where Syd’s ashes are laid in a special place, It is beautifully kept, very quiet and peacefull.

If any-one knew Syd please write.
