Date of birth 15th October 1922

 

Service

Apprentice at RAF Halton from January 1938 - 1940.

Thomas was a ground-crew chief on Liberator bombers, at the young age of 22 years.

Served in India and Burma 1943 - 1946.

Mentioned in dispatches 1st January 1943

BEM was awarded 8th June 1950

Commissioned in 1950.

 He was career RAF and retired as a Squadron Leader in 1961.

  23rd February 1990
