1941/12/09 - Left Cape Town for Bombay, redirected to Mombassa

1942/01/13 - Arrived Singapore, disembarked to Woodlands Camp near Naval Base where basic jungle training was given.

1942/01/16 - Moved to Jahore, Malaya under command of 11th Indian Division. Took up positions at Yong-Peng, Ayer Hitam.

1942/01/20 - Moved to Jamaluang, east of Ayer Hitam.

1942/01/21 - First action when patrol was attacked, two injured one missing.

1942/01/26 - Forced to retreat to Singapore

1942/01/28 - Battalion at Serangoon Road Camp, Singapore

1942/02/15 - Singapore surrendered
