1942 January 13th - Changed ships at Durban to ‘HMT Dunera’ and sailed with convoy DM2.

1942 February 3rd - Docked at Tanjong Priok Harbour, Java

1942 March 8th - Captured Java by Japanese

Transported to Singapore

Transported to Jesselton, Borneo

1943 April- Transported to Sandakan

1943 August - Moved from Sandakan to Kuching

1945 March 25th - Seniority to Lieutenant

1945 August 15th - Liberated at Batu Lintang Camp, Borneo.
