Bill fought alongside Brigadier 'Mad Mike' Calvert as one of Major General Wingate's famous Chindits during World War ll.

He was awarded the Military Medal for his part in the battle for Henu (Pagoda) Hill.

Rangoon then Changi

 

Died

Billy sadly died aged 62

on

January 18th 1982.
