Home when captured was Plymouth. Left Changi 1942/10/18, commandered by Lt-Col. J. Bassett, R.A., 35 L.A.A. When 517 of party sent to Ballali Island, he was left at Rabaul. Survived. Author of 'What Price Bushido' also lay preacher Congregational Church.
