Member of the 600 Gunners Party which left Changi 1942/10/18, commandeered by Lt-Col. J. Bassett, R.A., 35 L.A.A... Died Ballali, massacred with 517 other gunners by the Japanese (What Price Bushido by Alf 'Blackie' Baker).
