From Norwich, Norfolk.  PoW number 159. Captured 1942/04/10 South Atlantic. Sunk by the Thor, German Raider. The suvivors were transported by the Thor, MV Regensburg and MV Ramses to Japan. After liberation in Shinagawa  Hospital fro 2 months.*
