Singapore Memorial
Attended the old National School, Later working for the Morley Tile Company and Messrs Humby. In Army at outbreak of war, evacuated from Dunkirk. As Japanese POW sunk by USS Pampanito. Carrying 900 British prisoners from Singapore to Japan, 400 were lost.
