SINGAPORE MEMORIAL

The Memorial stands in Kranji War Cemetery. Kranji War Cemetery is 22 kilometres north of the city of Singapore, on the north side of Singapore Island overlooking the Straits of Johore.

Australian rubber planter in Malacca then  Manager, Choong Meng Estate, Serdang, Kedah   Graduate of Duntroon Military College. Wife evacuated to Australia. His last letter to his wife, written while on the run, is in Pat Garden’s papers at the IWM.
