SINGAPORE MEMORIAL

The Memorial stands in Kranji War Cemetery. Kranji War Cemetery is 22 kilometres north of the city of Singapore, on the north side of Singapore Island overlooking the Straits of Johore.

Born 1906 Russia. Fomerly Davisca. Engineer. Wife Gwendoline Jansz [married 1929 KL] evacuated to India then the London UK with children Michael [aged 7] & Muriel [aged 5]. POW Singapore to Thailand with 'F' Force 1943/04/28. Gwendoline died 1974.
