Chua Chu Kang Jewish Cemetery

In 1969 the Chua Chu Kang Cemetery became the site of burials of people of all denominations. Access is very easy by public transport.

Sections are devoted to each denomination, the Jewish section is on the main road and close to the bus stop, it is behind locked gates. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission maintains Private Henry Weinberg's grave.

 

1914-1918

 

WEINBERG, Private, HENRY, 50008. 1st Garrison Bn. Bedfordshire Regiment. 9th October 1918. Age 24. Son of S. J. and Kate Weinberg, of 135, Castlewood Rd., Stamford Hill, London. 77. D.
